With the continued growth of Southwest Montgomery County the proactive patrols of Precinct 5 Constables Department has made a major impact in the community. With the support of Montgomery County Commissioners and the community, Precinct 5 Constable’s Office received additional manpower in 2017. With the additional manpower and reorganization, the Precinct 5 has had success at improving their civil service and proactive policing functions. Precinct 5 initiated a proactive patrol unit to target traffic violations, warrants, narcotics and other criminal activity resulting in over 400 arrests in 2017 and over 20 pounds of narcotics taken off the streets. The estimated street value of the narcotics taken off the street reaches over 1 million dollars. With the increase in the criminal patrols the department has also increased the response to civil calls. Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constable’s Office is committed to providing our community with excellent service through integrity and dedication by proactive policing and civil standards above reproach.
